Accounting for Income Taxes ASC 740

Accounting for income taxes under Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) calculates how companies recognize, measure, and disclose income taxes in financial statements. Corporations that require an audit for bank financing or other purposes must report these calculations in their financial statements under specific rules issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).

Conclusions can include settled and unsettled questions on issues, common errors and traps and includes references to source material for support. Research questions can also be translated into presentation slides and videos for the training of how to address a particular issue.
